Hi, I’m Alexis — wife, homeschooling mama, cow lover, and the maker behind Fawn Meadow Leather.Fawn Meadow was born from a quiet moment on our homestead — one of those still evenings when the girls were finally asleep, the chores were done, and the world seemed to slow down just enough for me to breathe and create. What began as a way to reconnect with my hands and heart has grown into something so much bigger: a business built on family, craftsmanship, and the deeply rooted values of home and heritage.
We live off-grid in the hills of East Tennessee, where my husband and I have built our life from the ground up — literally. We don’t have electricity or running water, but we have each other, the land, and a whole lot of love. Our days are filled with homeschooling, chasing kids, caring for our animals (especially my sweet cows — they have my heart!), and living close to the rhythm of nature. It’s not always easy, but it’s honest, and it’s ours.

Leatherworking came into my life as a much-needed creative outlet. There's something grounding about working with your hands — cutting, stitching, shaping something beautiful and lasting out of a rugged, raw material. Every piece I make is infused with that same sense of connection and care. Whether it’s a pair of bold earrings, a sturdy clutch, or a delicate hand-tooled detail, I want it to feel like home — warm, strong, and made to last.

Fawn Meadow Leather reflects the life we live: slow, soulful, and centered around what matters most — family, faith, and the freedom to live simply. Each item is made right here at our kitchen table or workbench, often with little hands nearby and cows mooing just outside the window. It’s a labor of love, every time. Thank.

Thank you for supporting our small business. When you wear something from Fawn Meadow Leather, you’re not just buying a handmade good — you’re carrying a piece of our story, our land, and our heart.

With gratitude,
-Alexis
